Rotterdam, a lovable and livable central station!
Aggiornato il: 24 mar 2020
Can a railway station become a livable and lovable place? Yes!
Rotterdam just made it reality and this is an excellent example to take into account. The main hall of the central station (which hosts tens of thousands travelers every day) has been transformed into a concert hall which has entertained families, adults and young people, lovers of opera.
The Toonkunst Rotterdam choir started an urban project between Rotterdam and Almere to celebrate the Matthäus Passion's first in the Netherlands on April 22, 1870. On March 5, 2020 it was the turn of Rotterdam Central Station.
The realization of this project was also possible thanks to the collaboration among several stakeholders, such as the Stichting Droom en Daad cultural foundation, the VSBfonds support funding and the Municipality of Rotterdam.
In 1 public space: accessibility, versatility and comfort.
